The initiative has been made possible with the support of many people and organizations, which continuosly help us sustain our activities and empower us to continue to work on MDGs. On a daily basis, someone assists us in fulfilling our work.

We would like to thank all of them through this page. Below you could read the names of organizations or individuals who have in some way helped us.

A BIG THANK YOU to:

One World Youth Project (OWYP) for being the parent organization that has helped us with its resources, ideas, and knowledge to develop the MDG Jakova Initiative. Through their program, we were able to establish partnership with the Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center in Providence, Rhode Island (USA), and Applewood Public School, St Cathrines, Ontario Canada.

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office in Kosova for supporting a one full day activity in Prishtina for us. This support has given us the opportutnity to meet with Members of the Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister of Kosova, and UNDP to learn more about MDGs at a central level and about the perspective of international organizations about this global agenda.

Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center of Providence, Rhode Island, USA and Applewood Public School of St. Cathrines, Ontario Canada for being our partner schools. We were able to share with the an MDG curriculum, communicate through internet, exchang letters, make friends, learn from one another, and do joint activities together.

Din Varaku, the principal of Hajdar Dushi High School, for supporting us to run our intiative, being cooperative in developing it, and allow us to use the High School permises for activities and lectures.

Magbule Mejzini, our advisor from High School, who tirelesly supports us and is always willing to help.

Ferid Rugova, principal of Mustafa Bakija Primary School, who has allowed us to use the premises of the school to hold our tuturing activities in Math and English with students from primary schools around Gjakova. This activity has helped us fundraise a great deal for the intiatiative.

Daniele Pancheri (Italy), Juilan Chassany (France), Cezar Pineda (Columbia), Nita Gojani (Kosovo, USA), Lejla Sadiku (Kosovo, Germany), Safet Haxhijaha (Kosovo), who came all the way to Gjakova to give lectures on different topics related to education, poverty, culture, activism, development and even dancing.

All the Primary School Students, who come to our tutoring classes on a weekly basis to learn and advance their skills and knowledge in Math and English.

And finally to our two advisors, Jetmir Bakija and Behar Xharra, who advise us on a daily basis in program managment, development of activities, knowledge sharing and guidance for a successful initiative.
